Online Therapy in Colorado
You deserve room to be a person, not only the one everyone depends on.
I’m Susan Hea Jin Ko. I work with adults navigating anxiety, burnout, pregnancy, postpartum changes, the demands of motherhood, and the feeling of carrying too much on their own.
I’m licensed in Colorado as a marriage and family therapist. Online appointments offer a way to make room for your own support alongside work, family, and the responsibilities that fill your week.

Colorado telehealth details
What to know before we meet
Am I able to see you in Colorado?
Yes. I’m a Colorado Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, license #MFT.0002980. You must be physically located in Colorado during a Colorado telehealth appointment. I offer individual therapy to adults across the state.
Are appointments in person?
Colorado appointments are online. You’ll need a reliable internet connection and a private place where you can speak comfortably. We’ll discuss how sessions work during your consultation.
What if I travel?
Please tell me before an appointment if you will be outside Colorado. I also serve clients physically located in California and Florida, but we need to confirm whether a session can take place wherever you’ll be that day.
Can therapy fit into my workday?
We can discuss available appointment times during your consultation. Before choosing a time, consider whether you can find a quiet, private space and give yourself the full 50 minutes without work or caregiving interruptions. Please do not join a session while driving.
What can we work on together?
We might explore the guilt that shows up when you rest, expectations about being a good parent or employee, or how to ask for help and set boundaries. You set the pace; there is no requirement to arrive with everything organized.
What are the fees and insurance options?
Individual therapy is $180 per 50-minute session. New private-pay clients are welcome. Insurance billing is handled through Headway. In Colorado, I accept Aetna, United Healthcare/Optum/Oscar, and Providence Health Plan. Please confirm coverage and benefits for your specific plan before your first appointment.
A limited number of reduced-fee appointments may be available. I can also provide superbills for potential out-of-network reimbursement, which is not guaranteed. Read the full fees and insurance information.
Do I have to be a mom?
No. Although motherhood and perinatal mental health are central to my work, you’re welcome to ask about support for anxiety, identity, relationships, and life transitions. The consultation helps us decide whether my practice fits your needs.
Meet Susan
I’m a therapist, mom, and Korean American. My style is warm, conversational, and active: we can slow down the moments that feel difficult and explore what you need, including the cultural and family expectations you may be carrying.
My work draws on CBT, DBT-informed skills, mindfulness, IFS, and ACT. We’ll choose approaches that fit your concerns and preferences, and revisit what’s helpful as your needs change. I have advanced training in perinatal mental health and am pursuing the PMH-C credential.
